August and September saw us touring through some Asian countries. We
had a great time, saw most of the notable sights, and generally ate our way
across many cities and towns. From Thailand, through Cambodia, to Vietnam and a few days in Kuala Lumpar on the way home

Jingles discovered Lure Coursing - and the joy of free running this year! In March - His first ever run at an introduction workshop in Canberra April - a training day May - his first Trial June - Jingles qualified for the first time in Junior Courser! August - Thanks to Brian Parker in Adelaide for taking Jingles to compete - for his second Pass and Qualifying certificate. TITLED at Junior Courser - a first for the breed in Australia!

We danced in Sydney on 21 May - with stand out results! Jingles - 2 x 1st Place - Heelwork To Music - Starters to the song "I Will Walk 500 Miles" A TITLE for Jingles!

A fabulous weekend in early May - despite the rain!! Saturday 7 May - Jingles competed in Weight Pull at Orchard Hills in Sydney. He did not qualify, BUT for the first time he pulled the trolley from a standing start (160 kgs weight) Sunday 8 May - ACT State Titles and we competed in Rally O with spectacular results Rally O Advanced A - 1st Place: Aneiraby Eye Of Orion RN (AI) Brandy competed at this level for the first time - off leash - and won the class with 85/100 Rally O Excellent B - 1st Place: Dobro Duntroon RE CD HTM.N ET FS.S Our star of the day was Loki - who passed Rally O Novice and earned his title with 88 / 100

At his first competition in Heelwork To Music on 29 January at Belconnen, Jingles WON the Starters Class!
He worked close beside me to the song "I Will Walk 500 Miles" Jingles held all the different positions I asked him, including Heel on the right as I walked backwards.
His score of 160 / 180 was the highest score in Heelwork at the competition |
At the Bega Valley Cluster of dog shows and Rally O events at Bermagui in
February, the Golden Retrievers owned and loved by Terrie-Anne Fascianelli
and family, but trained and trialled by Mara put in stand out performances. Brandy competed in 2 Rally O Novice classes, and gained 2 Qualifying Passes for her Rally O Novice (RN) title. She won the last class with 98 / 100 - helped by the cooler evening weather - and this high score earned her a certificate for being the highest scoring dog in the trial.

Being at the beach involved miles of running on the sand and playing in the surf. That Pacific Ocean is a wonderful playground

Cooper danced in Sydney on 21 February He worked to Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves, doing a fabulous Freestyle routine. The judges agreed and he won Freestyle - Starters twice for his first Freestyle Dance title

The first Shows of the year saw Gary gain the final points needed for his
Neuter Championship title

Vale Merlin ~ 28 October 2000 ~ 26 May 2015 Am Ch Sibex's Fantasia Sadly his body failed him and Merlin left us peacefully It was our privilege to know him and to be loved by him during his time in Australia. Bev and Antionella welcomed him in to their home and hearts and know that his passing has left a gap
