Flow aged 4 weeks and so cute

Flow came to live with us in November 2001 and we raised, trained and handled her, quickly falling under the spell of her charming and delightful nature.

Flow took us to some lovely wins on the way to her Championship title, highlighted with two Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Show wins in country NSW.

She gaited to her Endurance Test (ET) title in August 2004 and was then sent back to her breeder who wanted a litter from this quality Husky.

We took them to the Adelaide Royal Show in September 2004 and they were placed 2nd over 40 entries in the Parent and Progeny class

Minerva was awarded BCC at the 2005 Adelaide Royal Show.

Another favourite snap

In August 2005, Lynne Munro advised us of this news:

Flow was visiting a stud dog last week when she escaped and was hit by a car. I don't blame the stud dog owner and have only compliments about the level of care given immediately afterwards and for the entire time Flow was there.
Flow sustained a serious head injury and had swelling on the brain. She came home from the Vet Surgery on Friday night and she reacted well to seeing me. She is improving a little at a time but her reactions are similar to a stroke victim. She has little control of her limbs but she is at least trying to get going. She has managed to sit up (with lots of wobbles) and take a few steps before falling to one side. It is so sad to see her like this but she is being a real trooper and that tail is still wagging but not quite at full pelt.

We don't know yet if she has sustained permanent brain damage, but we have lots of hope.
 

She whelped a litter of 3 grey pups took the best care of them.

Her head trauma had not affected her instinct to feed, clean, care for and keep her pups warm

Flow came back so well from raising this litter that we decided at the last minute to take her to the Canberra Royal Show in February 2007.

To our delight, she was awarded Reserve BCC and best Australian Bred in Breed.  (picture below)

Flow was placed in the best pet home  -  she deserved some peace and quiet in her life after all she had been through
