May 6 - and we were off on a Wine and Harvest Tour south of Lake Tahoe

First stop was Boeger Winery, where they unlocked the doors at 10 am - and
in we went!

Morning tea at Boa Vista Orchard -
well known for preserves, seasonal fruits, fresh cider, and a bakery
Yes, we tasted all of them! and bought a bottle of the apple - blackberry
Lunch was in the gardens of Jodar - custom made sandwiches using a variety of local fillings and condiments

After lunch - what else but another winery - Chateau Davell where the
owner's family does the painting!
